All of the Staff of Sunshine Elementary would like to welcome you back for the 2009 - 2010 school year. Some FAQ's regarding start up can be addressed on the day of school at our building, or some of the following information may help you get settled:
- Day 1 is Tuesday September 8, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (K students have an independent schedule beginning at 9:30 for the a.m. class)
- All Returning Students report to their last year's classroom
- All New Students report to the Library
- All New Kindergarten Students report to their appropriate classroom
- Supply lists will be reviewed by teachers in the first couple of days. If you haven't acquired supplies please send writing and colouring instruments in a backpack or bag for first day activities. Click FORMS for up to date lists
- Please refer to the parent handbook regarding building access, school attendance information, and other school expectations for the safest and best learning environment for students
 École Élémentaire Sunshine Hills Elementary School is located at the intersection of Ryall Crescent and Bond Boulevard in the Sunshine Hills area of North Delta. We are very fortunate to be within walking distance of both the Delta Watershed Park and the Burns Bog Ecological Conservancy. We are a dual track school (English and French Immersion) with over 560 students and 50 staff members.
Sunshine Hills is dedicated to providing the best possible educational experience for all of our students in all areas of personal growth and development (academic, social, emotional, and physical).
